On the agenda for this months meeting are endorsements for Countywide candidates and election of a new vice-chair and State committee woman.

Candidate Meet 'n' Greet Brunch, June 13, 10 am to Noon

Meet and chat with County Council and other local candidates over coffee and snacks.

Campaign season is almost upon us. There are four County Council positions on the ballot this year and we have four, previously endorsed, candidates running: Laurie Caskey-Schreiber, Carl Weimer, Dan McShane and Ken Mann.

Other offices on this years ballot will be Port Commissioners, Mayors, City Councils and more. Come join us, meet candidates, talk campaigns and local politics.

42nd LD Democrats Meeting - Saturday, May 9, 10AM to Noon

Our State Representative Kelli Linville will be the guest speaker. She will report on this session of the Legislature and the State budget. With the downturn in the economy and revenue, the Legislature was faced with a lot of tough choices this session. Come find out what new laws were passed, what Bill's didn't make it out of committee, what's in the budget, what's been cut and what's next.

At the April meeting Steve Lydolph was elected Chair. The position of Vice-Chair is temporarily vacant and an election for that position will be held at the May meeting.
